When outdoor furniture is exposed to the elements, its bound to collect dust and dirt over a period of time. Regularly use a brush or dry cloth to wipe away any loose debris. For a heavier clean, hose off your furniture with a medium spray setting. Be sure to remove cushions and decorative accessories before cleaning.
Whether it be cushions or canopies, Nuvella fabric is an absolute breeze to clean! For light stains, use mild soap with lukewarm water and apply directly to the fabric using a soft cloth or brush. For stubborn stains, mix a diluted bleach solution using 1 cup of bleach to 1 gallon of lukewarm water. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and always allow to air dry only.
Resin wicker has a textured surface, so it's important to get in between the weaves with a soft-bristled cleaning brush for the deepest clean. Gently scrub with a solution of ¼ cup white vinegar mixed with mild detergent and water. The most important step is to make sure you thoroughly rinse after cleaning. Do not allow any soapy residue to remain in between the weaves.
Rust-Free Aluminum Frames
Outdoor furniture with aluminum frames withstands moisture and the elements, with the ability to resist rust. If you ever notice slight discoloration, wash the area with mild detergent and warm water to remove oxidization. It also helps to add a natural acid like vinegar for even more cleaning power. Carefully rinse on a medium spray setting.
An outdoor table with a porcelain or glass tabletop is bound to become a tad grimy over the course of the season. Using a microfiber cloth, wash with dish detergent and warm water. If you are unable to remove the tabletop, lay a thick blanket on the ground, turn the table upside down and repeat the cleaning method for the underside.
A simple clean will keep your outdoor furniture looking pristine! For best results, clean four times a year: once at the beginning of spring, once at the end of summer, and a couple of times in between.
