Three years ago I bought a lovely L shaped couch from Ashley in Belleville because I was living there at the time. Since then, I've moved to Newcastle ON, now moving to Port Perry. I have found that my couch is not functional being an L shaped couch and called the closest Ashley Home Store which is Whitby ON, I also bought a large dresser from this location, to ask about making the long cushion into the same size as the other two cushions. The woman I spoke to said they just order the cushion by the order # on my receipt (which I do not have anymore...I bought it three years ago) and I truly felt this person, if dealing with customers should speak in English, it was very broken English and could not understand her, I'm good at understanding accents and have dealt with the public in a kindly of course but this was way far "not going good". So nothing was helpful from this location in Whitby. A week later my husband tried, I heard him on the phone, and this sounded like the same voice only using much better English. In the end she told him a technician would call him regarding the altering of the cushion. It has been well over a week. No call from the technician. Very bad customer service for the amount of money I've spent. You do not deserve a good review from me if Ashley Home Store in Whitby ON can't be good to us!

The lady that helped us with our purchase was amazing kind friendly and knowledgeable about our product we purchased she needs a raise great job thank you we will be dealing with this lady again.
My experience with Ashley furniture from starts to finish was incredibly disappointing. For a large company that supposed to pride themselves on complete satisfaction they failed. We purchased a $10,000 leather (so we thought) furniture set on sale. We were told by the salesman it was genuine leather and got the extended warranted in case something went wrong. Less than 1 1/2 years after receiving our chairs they have begun to flake and peel. Warranty department said this is normal were and tear and would not do anything to help as the product was not real leather. They suggested we buy a new chair or arm for the chair which turns out they don't even sell the piece. Don't be fooled into buying their products if you expect them to stand behind them. Much better place to buy for less like Structube. I was contacted by Ashley, they were going to investigate as seen below in their response and sent them information - No Response. It appears that the response from Ashley's on this form was just to give the appearance that they care as I continue to hear nothing from them in response to my warranty claim - disappointing.
