What's Poppin?

Your taste buds are about to freak out! It’s time to take your snack game to the next level with some mouth-watering homemade popcorn seasonings! Make sure to skip the microwave and try homemade popcorn over the stove or in a popcorn maker instead. From popping the corn to making the seasonings, we got you covered with this poppin snack guide!

First things first! The popcorn must be made. If you have a homemade popcorn maker, skip this step and go straight to the seasonings!

How to Make Homemade Popcorn: 


• 1/3 cup popcorn kernels

• 3 tbsp coconut oil

• 1 large saucepan with lid

• Large bowl or paper bags


1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.

2. Place three or four kernels into the oil and cover the pan.

3. Once the kernels start to pop, add the rest of the kernels to the pan and cover.

4. Frequently shake the pan gently while keeping it over the heat.

5. Once the popping slows to a few seconds between pops, remove from heat and dump into a large bowl.

    3 Easy Recipes for Homemade Popcorn Seasonings:


    Parmesan Rosemary 

    • 1 tbsp dried rosemary

    • 1 tsp garlic powder 

    • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese

    • 1 tsp salt 



    • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

    • ½ tsp cumin

    • ½ cayenne pepper

    • 2 tsp salt 



    • 1 tbsp onion flakes

    • 1 tsp parsley leaves

    • 1 tsp dill weed

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp onion powder

    • 1/4 black pepper

    • 1 tsp salt


    How to Make Popcorn Seasoning:

    1. Combine all ingredients in a spice grinder, or grind by hand with a mortar and pestle.

    2. Blend until large chunks are made into a powder consistency.

    3. Drizzle oil of choice or heated butter over the popcorn.

    4. Sprinkle your seasonings and toss!

    5. Bake your popcorn in the oven for 5 minutes on low heat (optional).
